Prohibition against collection of data

Data regarding users of Freeride's digital channels may not, without prior approval from Freeride, be collected or retrieved by third parties for the purpose of now or in the future advertising against its users or categorizing/segmenting users for other commercial purposes by using cookies or other tracking methods. Exceptions to the prohibition of data collection are made only in respect of third-party commitments to the advertiser regarding the collection of anonymous data, which is permitted for the purpose of reporting and following up the advertiser's number of impressions, reach and conversion.

Prohibition on the transfer of data

Data regarding users of Freeride's digital channels may not, without prior approval from Freeride, be shared with third parties by, for example, but not exclusively, being transferred to external ad exchanges, data collection platforms or other systems in order to somehow increase the value or capitalize on this data.

Prohibition on the handling of personal data

Data containing personal data as defined in the Personal Data Act (1998:204) ("PUL") regarding users of Freeride's sites may not be processed without the express consent of the processed. In this context, treatment and consent are defined according to "PUL" and the Swedish Data Protection Authority's regulations. This includes, but not exclusively, a ban on associating cookies or other tracking methods with personal data.

Sanction in case of violation

Violation of these conditions also constitutes a material breach of the advertising agreement between the Advertiser and Freeride. In the event of such a material breach of contract, or reasonable suspicion that such a material breach of contract exists, Freeride has the right to cancel the contract with immediate effect and demand damages for the direct damage caused by the breach of contract. If the breach of contract occurred intentionally or due to gross negligence, a right to damages is also covered for indirect damages.
