The York Dispatch

Media · News · United States

Founded in 1876 by Hiram Young, The York Dispatch is the longest continuously published newspaper in York County. A longtime evening publication, the Dispatch is now published weekday mornings by The York Dispatch Publishing Co.

Under a Joint Operating Agreement, there are two daily newspapers in York -- the Dispatch and the York Daily Record. Although the newspapers have separate, competitive news staffs, they share advertising, circulation and printing, and both are based at a facility owned by the York Newspaper Co. at 1891 Loucks Road in West Manchester Township.
