The University Daily Kansan

Since 1904, the University Daily Kansan has been the student news source of the University of Kansas. We publish at kansan.com as well as on Kansan social media, in special print editions, through events and other activities. We also provide opportunities for KU students to gain practical application of professional skills as they prepare for successful careers in media and other industries.

Our staff members adhere to the highest standards of ethics, news objectivity and creativity. Staffers are students working in a professional learning environment. We respect each individual’s role and recognize that the Kansan is a product of the entire staff. The Kansan maintains an open-door policy and encourages audience feedback.
