The Student Life

The Student Life is the oldest college newspaper in Southern California. It serves as the newspaper of record for the Claremont Colleges, a consortium of seven highly selective liberal arts colleges and graduate schools in Claremont, California, with a combined student body of around 7700. TSL is published weekly on Fridays during the academic year in print and online. Each issue contains coverage in four sections: News, Life and Style, Opinions, and Sports. TSL is entirely student written and managed, and employs a staff of approximately 120 students per semester, including writers, columnists, photographers, videographers, designers, copy specialists, business associates, and editors. It is funded primarily by the student governments of the colleges.
