Stadium Rant Sports Community iOS App: I was onboarded as a sports community writer a couple weeks ago and was forced to download the app, and that first impression felt off. The onboarding came across as pushy, the app felt clunky, and the whole experience gave me more of an AD heavy, privacy unfriendly feel than a real community vibe. What bothered me most was how little trust Stadium Rant built up front. Instead of clearly explaining value, it felt like I was being pushed into something before I even had a chance to judge it properly. That alone was a red flag, especially for an app that wants people to spend time inside it. The ad situation made it worse. Some of it felt intrusive, and the overall setup raised questions about how much data the app might be collecting or sharing behind the scenes. For a sports community app, that’s not a great look. The layout felt messy, the experience wasn’t smooth, and it didn’t leave me feeling like this was something thoughtfully built for users. It felt more like a platform trying to grow fast than one focused on quality. Ultimately, this is not an app I’d recommend based on first impressions. If you care about privacy, clean design, and a user experience that feels trustworthy, this one may not be worth the hassle.
