Los Altos Town Crier

The Los Altos Town Crier, a locally owned weekly newspaper, is located at 138 Main Street in the picturesque village of Los Altos. Published every Wednesday since 1947, we're the only newspaper to offer in-depth, local news relevant to the affluent communities of Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. Mailed directly to households in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and selected areas of Mountain View, we have thousands of paid subscribers among the weekly circulation of 16,000. Hundreds of subscribers in neighboring communities and out-of-state also receive our newspaper. After more than six decades of publishing weekly, the Los Altos Town Crier is a local institution.

The Town Crier's mission is to keep readers informed and help advertisers successfully promote their businesses. Our paper sees its role as an active one, reporting on local news and supporting community-building local endeavors. The Town Crier’s annual holiday fund is one of many ways we partner with non-profit groups working to make our region a healthy and inclusive place for all residents.

We are owned by a small team of independent, local co-publishers: LATC Media Inc.
