Cork Beo

Cork is changing faster than any other county in Ireland and faster than most regions across Europe. In the city, our population has just jumped by 85,000 to 210,000 thanks to the boundary changes. Cranes tower in our skyline and it seems every day brings news of new jobs, new developments, new culture, life and excitement.

Across the county, East, North and West, communities are getting stronger and working harder to make their towns and villages a better place for all.

As a native Leesider, home after many years away, I'm delighted to see our old pride teamed with new ambition, to see the Rebel County rise again with energy and confidence.

Cork Beo is the new voice for a region on the rise - telling your stories, amplifying your concerns, championing your causes. There's a lot happening - so stay tuned!
